Worked time 1 to 10

The Start/End Time 1 to 10 constraints define up to four different daily time windows during which a resource is allowed to begin and complete their visits. These time windows help control when a resource can perform tasks within a working day.

Each pair—Start Time and End Time—represents one valid operating period. You may configure up to four separate time intervals to reflect varying working hours, split shifts, or special availability.

Format: HH:MM You can define between one and four time windows depending on how many working periods the resource has in a day.

Example 1: Single Time Window

The resource works every day from 08:00 to 17:00.

  • Start Time 1 = 08:00

  • End Time 1 = 17:00

This means the resource can carry out visits only within this single time window.

Example 2: Split Shift

The resource works in two shifts:

  • Morning shift from 08:00 to 12:00

  • Afternoon shift from 14:00 to 18:00

Configuration:

  • Start Time 1 = 08:00, End Time 1 = 12:00

  • Start Time 2 = 14:00, End Time 2 = 18:00

The system will only schedule visits within these two intervals.

Example 3: Three Distinct Working Periods

The resource is available:

  • Early morning from 06:00 to 08:00

  • Midday from 11:00 to 13:00

  • Evening from 16:00 to 19:00

Configuration:

  • Start Time 1 = 06:00, End Time 1 = 08:00

  • Start Time 2 = 11:00, End Time 2 = 13:00

  • Start Time 3 = 16:00, End Time 3 = 19:00

Visits will be planned only within these three time blocks.

Example 4: Using All Four Time Windows

The resource has varying short availability periods throughout the day:

  • 07:00–09:00

  • 10:00–12:00

  • 14:00–15:00

  • 17:00–19:00

Configuration:

  • Start Time 1 = 07:00, End Time 1 = 09:00

  • Start Time 2 = 10:00, End Time 2 = 12:00

  • Start Time 3 = 14:00, End Time 3 = 15:00

  • Start Time 4 = 17:00, End Time 4 = 19:00

In a similar way, you can configure the remaining six work times.
