Speed Weighting
If the observed travel times are generally too low or too high, the user can adjust them by specifying, for each resource, whether it operates faster or slower than the speed defined in the road statistics. This allows the user to adapt traffic data to the specific constraints of each resource while still preserving variations in speed based on time of day and direction of travel.
The Normal value is the default and serves as the reference speed defined in the vehicle profile and/or provided by the Here maps (road statistics).
Format: Number
Example: Road statistics indicate a speed of 50 km/h on Avenue Aristide Briand in Bagneux.
If the user considers this speed too high, they assign a Speed Weighting of 1.2 (slower). The resource then travels 20% slower, at 40 km/h instead of 50 km/h.
If the user considers this speed too low, they assign a Speed Weighting of 1.2 (faster). The resource then travels 20% faster, at 60 km/h instead of 50 km/h.
