Duration of a cutout portion of a delivery

This constraint specifies the minimum duration required to allow a visit to be split into multiple portions. A visit may be split across different days or around a lunch break. This value is closely linked to the Visit duration constraint.

Format: HH:MM

Example:

• Visit A has a Visit duration of 4 hours.

• Visit B has a Visit duration of 30 minutes.

• The Duration of a portion of a split visit is set to 01:00

This means that only visits lo nger than 1 hour can be split:

• Visit A can be divided into multiple portions if needed.

• Visit B cannot be split, as it is shorter than the minimum portion duration.

The minimum duration for each split portion is controlled by the Threshold duration for cutting visits constraint.

Additional rule: A visit cannot be split into more than 16 blocks.
